The Lantern lights are manufactured from a white, Ultraframe Classic Roof System. The roof system is set at a 25 degree pitch, with chambered top caps, and is supplied with a 24mm double glazed unit consisting of a 4mm Pilkington’s Activ Blue or neutral toughened outer pane, a 16mm argon filled void and a 4mm Pilkington ‘K’ toughened inner pane. There also pole operated and electrical opening window options available too.
The Lanterns lights vertical glazing is manufactured from a white Eurocell Ultimte 70mm profile, 350mm high vertical sides, with full steel reinforcement(if required) and is supplied with a 28mm double glazed unit consisting of a float ‘K’ glass. There are also manual and pole operated opening window options available too.
To help you order your Lantern light, please see our size chart and measuring diagram (above left). The sizes shown are internal ones. So if you have a structural opening size of 690x2430 then you would need to order from the 750x2500mm menu, and of course, making sure to add the 690x2430mm in the boxes provided. This will confirm the correct sizes for manufacturing. An internal measurement of +751mm, +1001mm, + 1251mm would take you to the next size up, e.g. 1000mm, 1250mm & 1500mm. Please be aware that any internal measurement of +2501mm would need to be quoted, directly, from our sales office. Maximum 1 opening window in each side of 750mm, 1000mm & 1250mm.
Maximum 2 opening windows in each side of 1500mm, 1750mm, 2000mm, 2250mm & 2500mm.
If you choose the pole operated vertical window option, we will supply you with 1 pole, per lantern.
Opening Roof Windows
Opening roof windows can be supplied with pole operated or electrical options, we suggest that you take a look at the table, top left, to see the maximum windows, 1, 2 or 4, per Lantern light, in the coloured boxes.
If you choose the pole operated roof window option, we will supply you with 1 pole, per lantern.
Climate pack: 1 climate pack controls up to 4no (maximum) roof window electrical openers. The climate pack includes a thermostat, rain sensor and a switch. All the electrical openers will operate as one once commissioned. All electrical commissioning, electrical cables & sockets is by others.
